Obituary for Lorraine Zelma Shook

Lorraine Zelma Shook, age 95, of Olathe, Kansas, formerly of Miller, Missouri, passed away at 12:40 a.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2017, at her son’s home.  She was born September 24, 1922, in Lawrence County, Missouri, the daughter of Elmer and Mamie (Mooneyham) Wallace.



Lorraine was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School.  She was a store clerk for the Hobbs Store in Miller and a member of the Miller United Methodist Church.



On September 14, 1947, she married Owen Eugene Shook, in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.  He preceded her in death on September 6, 2004.



She is survived by her son, Rick Shook, and his wife, Cheryl, of Olathe, Kansas.



Her parents, Elmer and Mamie, husband, Owen and granddaughter, Elisabeth LeGrande preceded her in death.



A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at the Morris-Leiman-Mosher Funeral Home, in Miller.  Burial will follow at the Miller Memorial Gardens Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home chapel.
