Obituary for Ellen Ann Taylor

Ellen Ann Taylor, age 79, of Miller, Missouri, passed away at 5:10 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at her home. She was born September 2, 1938, in Racine, Missouri, the daughter of Russell Dwight and Lola Mae (Pigg) Severs.

Ann was a homemaker and a member of The Church of God in Sapulpa, Oklahoma and attended Life Bridge Church in Mt. Vernon, Missouri.

On November 2, 1954, she married Billy Wayne Taylor, in Miller, Missouri.

Ann is survived by her husband of 63 years, Bill; one daughter, Becky Burton and her husband, Jessie, of Stotts City, Missouri; four sons, Tim Taylor and his wife, Julie, Tom Taylor and his wife, Dee Ann and David Taylor, all of Miller and Joe Taylor of Mt. Vernon; one sister, Nina Rios and her husband, Tony, of Lee Summit, Missouri; one brother, Leroy Burke of St. Ann, Missouri; 19 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, Russell and Lola, daughter, Teresa Taylor and seven brothers, Russell, Joe, Ed, John, Frank, Dwight and Gene Severs, preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017, at the Fossett-Mosher Funeral Home, in Mt. Vernon. Burial will follow at the Misemer Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 3, 2017, in the funeral home chapel.
Memorial donations may be made payable to the American Lung Association or any Veteran’s Organization in care of the funeral home.
